Children: William Elliott, George Horace, Alice Floyd, Esther Marie
George was born and died in the one of the houses on Remshart Row on Jones St. which had been built by his father. He attended the Georgia Military Institute in Marietta Ga. In 1864 his entire class was inducted into the Confederate Army, in which he served until the end of the war. Afterwards, he was in business in Savannah until his early death.
Alice was born in Rome GA, where her parents were living at the time, then moved to Savannah until 1871 when her mother and stepfather returned to his home in Lynn MA. She married her first cousin once removed, George, in Lynn, then moved with him to Savannah.
George and Alice’s sons had no children; George Jr died as a child, and William never married.
